Paul searched for two years to find the right producer to craft a preservative-and-additive-free of spreads and pestos bearing the A.G. Ferrari Foods name. His search ended in the vegetable gardens of a small producer in the herb-scented Ligurian hills above Genova.

This natural pesto from coastal Liguria is made in the authentic Genovese style with fresh basil, olive oil, pine nuts and grated cheese. Toss with pasta, use as a crostini topping or as a marinade for chicken or fish.

Pesto alla Genovese is one of seven new sauces made in Liguria, exclusively for A.G. Ferrari Foods.

Pesto Genovese is, without a doubt, my favorite pesto. My family and I eat it on capelli d'angeli at least once every week. We add a salad and a loaf of crusty Italian bread and the meal is simple but delicious beyond compare.

This brand of Pesto Genovese is one of my alltime favorites. So many times, Peste Genovese can be too oily, covering up the taste of the basil and the pine nuts. Not so with this pesto. Every ingredient seems to be perfectly balanced so you get the freshest, most flavorful Pesto Genovese available. The taste of the basil and the pine nuts is delicate, but so exquisite.

If you like Pesto Genovese or just want a change from more "traditional" tomato sauces, I urge you to give this pesto a try. I don't think you can go wrong.

Pesto Genovese is a wonderful tasting pesto sauce. The fresh basil, fragrant olive oil, and rich cheese flavors burst in your mouth. This sauce has great combination of flavors that are balanced and make a suburb pasta dish to serve to your most special guests.

I'm putting this sauce on my list (again) for my next dinner party!!!

I highly recommend it.... and the price is GREAT!
